What to see?

Biokovo
Take a trip to discover the Biokovo Nature Park. You will be delighted by numerous viewpoints offering stunning views of the surrounding foothills and islands. It is recommended to explore the park in organized groups with professional guides, though individual hiking is also possible. Hiking trail maps are available at the Brela Tourist Board. The park is home to many rare and endangered plants, so please do not pick them or destroy their habitats, and avoid frightening or harming the animals or their homes. Free climbers can find detailed information about climbing routes at the "Brela" climbing area at the Brela Tourist Board office. Use of these routes is at your own risk.
Split
A city of classical Roman, early Croatian, Romanesque, and Renaissance architecture. Known for its sports and shipbuilding. Located 45 km from Brela. Half-day or full-day trips by boat or bus.

Trogir
The best-preserved medieval town on the eastern Adriatic coast. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, home to some of the world’s rarest treasures. (approx. 60 km)


Dubrovnik
A Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque city—all in one, the pearl of the Adriatic. Located at Croatia's southernmost point, 180 km from Brela. Famous for the city walls surrounding Dubrovnik’s old town, stretching 1,940 meters, where the popular series The Game of Thrones was filmed.
Hvar Island
Located 15 nautical miles across from Brela. The town of Hvar, the largest settlement on the island, is rich in Romanesque and Renaissance buildings and Mediterranean ambiance. Known as the Croatian Madeira. The town of Jelsa, the second largest on the island, is famous for its fine Dalmatian wines. Full-day trips available.

Brač Island
The largest of the Dalmatian islands. It is 40 km long, with a total area of 395 km². The island is divided into two areas: the lower coastal area around the island and the high mountainous region, featuring the highest peak among the Adriatic islands, Vidova gora (778 m).
